“Consequence of Time” - an entry I made for a contest at NZCGI a while back.  The spec was to show something that clearly showed that ‘time had passed’… My concept: “A cuckoo - sick and tired of his job of popping out every hour on the hour, popping out one final time. He’s hung by a noose, strangled with a horrible expression at the end of his platform. He’s literally sick to death of the job. It’s a consequence of him having to keep time all these years…” I made this while a big project was on at work and I really was only able to complete the bare bones in order to get my concept across. Always meant to go back and rework it because I think it could make a powerful image.
