made the sizable decision
to slice a large incision
with some scissors
in the chasm
of your masochistic heart

I,
Not being superstitious
though at times slightly sadistic
pushed the scissors you incised with
so the gash metastasized big
in your gaping heart

It spasmed from the start
a fantastic piece of art
scarlet splashes scattered far
like red tar, falling stars
what a martyr for
bored voyeurs
from here to Mars.
